Willard F. Hess, 85, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away February 23, 2004, in his home. He was born in Oregon, OH on October 18, 2004, to Charles and Anna (Grotz) Hess. Willard was employed by Oregon Schools as a custodian fireman, retiring in 1981 Willard is survived by his son, Michael (Kimberly) Hess; 2 grandchildren, Steven and Brian Hess; sister, Florence Brown; nephew, James (Janet) Routson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane (Brown); sister, Hermine Routson; brothers, Melvin and Norman Hess. Graveside services will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Willard's memory are asked to consider the Alzheimers Association .
