Will L. Widmer, 84, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022 at UTMC Hospital with his loving wife by his side. Will was born in Millbury, Ohio on June 29, 1938 to Claude and Mildred (Thomas) Widmer. He served his country for 2 years in the United States Army and as a Reserve for 4 years. Will had worked for the former Pier Oil Company and then worked at BP Oil where he retired from in 2000 after 31 years of employment. Will loved and was a huge OSU fan. In his spare time Will enjoyed baking and gardening which he excelled at both. He is survived by his loving wife, Joanie; children, Luke (Sara) and Jennifer (Israel); grandchildren, Alicia, Luke, Taylor, Kylee, brother, Neil (Lexi) Widmer. Also surviving is his buddy, Luci who he and Joanie watched. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Claude, Dean, Walter, George, Betty, Jean. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 111 Woodville Road, Millbury on Saturday, July 30 from 9:00 AM until 12 noon. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12 noon until 3:00pm at VFW Post 9963, 109 N Main St, Walbridge, OH 43465. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Veteran's Administration.
