William M. Mineff, 94, of Oregon, Passed away on January 14, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, with his family present. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 4, 1921 to Anthony and Sadie (Hame) Mineff. Bill worked as a mechanical engineer for 40 years before retiring in 1991. Bill is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Kenneth) Petiniot; grandchildren, Charles and Stacy; sister-in-law, Bernadette (Joseph) Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Mary; brother, Christopher Mineff. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin with prayers in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. and proceed to Epiphany of the Lord – St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 729 White St. Toledo, for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
