William R. Demshok, 94, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018. Bill was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 7, 1924 to George and Katherine (Kokotaylo) Demshok. He was World War II veteran of the United States Army and worked for New York Central and CSX Railroads for 42 years. His true passion was spending time with his family and will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit. Bill is survived by his sister, Catherine Dalton; nephews, Harold Basinger and Michael Basinger; great nieces, Billy Jo Basinger and Michelle Basinger; and great nephew, Harold Basinger Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tom Demshok and Steve Demshok; brother-in-law, Floyd Dalton; and nephew, Dennis Basinger. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Intement: Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
