WILLIAM BELA DOBO
William Bela Dobo, 68, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on April 28, 2003 at Orchard Villa. He was born February 12, 1935 in Yugoslavia to Bela and Victoria (Mihalyi) Dobo. William was the owner/operator of Sue-Deb Garment Company, where they manufactured better women's sportswear, for over 35 years, retiring in 1990. He was an active member of St. Stephen Catholic Church since coming to America in 1962. William was a member of the Hungarian Club, sang in the church choir, enjoyed playing chess, traveling and hosting get togethers for family and friends.
William is survived by his wife of 43 years, Veronica; daughter, Diana (Brian) Gadus; son, Dennes W. (Stephanie) Dobo; grandchildren, Michelle Martinez, Zachary, Danielle, Taylor and Carter; great-grandson, Adam; sister, Margaret (Steve) Orosz; ; nephews, Csaba (Tina) Orosz, Steve Orosz; sister-in-law, Ilona Apro and many nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2003 and proceed to St. Stephen Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions in William's honor can be made to St. Stephen Church.
