William J.B. Dunbar, 85, of east Toledo passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Northwest Ohio Hospice Perrysburg. He was born in Clear Creek, West Virginia on August 13, 1925 to Albert and Lilly (Harmon) Dunbar. John was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He retired in 1990 from O'™Brien Nye Trucking Company where he was a truck driver for over 30 years. John enjoyed traveling with his wife on the senior bus trips and also drives through parks. Surviving are his wife. Linda K.; 8 children; numerous grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Maxine. John was preceded in death by his parents, daughter and siblings. Linda would like to thank family friends, Debbie and Steve for all their help and concern. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road and where his funeral service will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
