William E. "Bill" Hamilton Sr., 70, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on October 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 15, 1956, in Oregon, Ohio, to the late John Hamilton Sr and Virginia (Thomas) Hamilton.

Bill was a 1974 graduate of Waite High School. After high school, Bill went on to join the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he was a Fork Lift Driver for Hinkle Manufacturing and retired after 35 years.

Bill was a member of the American Legion. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes Fan. Known for his quick wit and humor, he always had a great "one liner" to share.

Bill is survived by his children, Heather Hamilton and William "Bill" (Shannon) Hamilton Jr., 4 grandchildren, Lauryn Stephens and Bradley Hamilton and Brandon and Katelynn Barry, Siblings , Glenna Hamilton, Mary (Denny) Hamilton, Lindee Poskarbiewicz, John Hamilton, and Charles (Kristen) Hamilton.

He is preceded in death by parents, and sister, Luann (Mark) Cray.

The family will greet friends at Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Homes, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio, 43616 on Friday, October 30, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
