William A. Johnson, 72, passed away peacefully at Brookdale Memory Care, Goodlettsville, TN on December 18. 2019. He was born in Ferndale, Michigan on December 24, 1946 to Willett and Mildred May (Anderson) Johnson. Bill was employed with Comerica Bank and worked as a loan officer for several years before retiring. He enjoyed boating, camping, fishing and spending time with his family. Surviving are his son, Jason, (Kathy) Johnson; daughter, Cortney (Brandon Evans) Johnson; grandson, Tony Ballard; brothers, David (Jan) Johnson and Robert (Darcy) Johnson; sister-in-law, Louee (George) Sommerman and nieces, Amanda (Andy) Riebling, Molly Johnson, Angie Johnson and Jen (Aaron) Adams. Graveside services will be held at the Oakview Cemetery Chapel 1032 N. Main St. Royal Oak, MI 48067 at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 25, 2020 with Military Honors to follow. Those planning an expression of sympathy in Bill's memory are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Association.
