William LaPoint, 54, of Colton, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born on October 2, 1960 in Boston Massachusetts to David and Patricia (Donahue) LaPoint. On June 3, 1985, he married Debbie Kesler. Bill worked as a painter for over 35 years. He was an avid sports fan; cheering on the Cowboys, Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, Buckeyes, and Jeff Gordon. Bill enjoyed dancing and was an avid music collector. His true passion was spending time with and caring for his family. Bill is survived by his wife of 29 years, Debbie; sons, Dorian (Rebecca) LaPoint and Kodi (Jennifer) Kesler; 7 grandchildren; brothers, David and George LaPoint; along with many loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
