William C. McCrory, 67, of Camden, Michigan, and formerly of east Toledo, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008, in his residence. Bill was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 13, 1941 to Edwin and Marjorie (Whitney). He graduated from Waite High School in 1959 where he played football, basketball and ran track. He then went on to graduate from Wittenberg University where he also ran track and played football. He was CFO for Spohn Associates in Indianapolis, IN, prior he had worked at LinEl Signature Inc., Vice President of Welder's Needs, Treasurer at Bostwick Braun Company, and a staff accountant for Ernst and Ernst. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and gardening. Most of all Bill loved spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his loving wife, Suzette; children, Michael W. (Tracey) McCrory, Michaele M. (Scott) Shepherd, Matthew W. (Erin) McCrory; grandchildren, Megan, Alex, Lindsey, Thomas, Joseph, and Jackson. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John McCrory. A memorial service will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon, Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon On Monday at 1:00 p.m. and where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
