William C. Prince, 72, of Oregon, OH passed away September 21, 2005 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, OH. He was born in Decatur, AL on August 13, 1933 to William C. Sr. and Hazel (Minyard) Prince. William was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War, and was employed as a wheelsman by Oglebay Norton Marine Transportation, retiring in 1998.
Surviving are his wife, Bertha; daughter, Janet (Donald Sr.) Moore; sisters, Patricia Ann Cunningham, Martha Price and Virginia Little; brother, Robert (Linda) Prince; grandchildren, Donald Moore Jr. and Tiffany A. Moore; brothers-in-law, Melvin, Victor (Toby), Jack and Russel Jahns; sisters-in-law, Angeline (Harry) Myers, Shirley Jahns, Charlottesue (Fred) Frost and many nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his mother and brothers-in-law, Cullen Little, George Jahns and Otto Jahns Sr.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Friday, September 23, 2005 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with interment following in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
