Obituary

William R. Reddington, 68 of Curtice, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with his family by his side. Bill was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 10, 1949 to Ralph and Caroline (Gahler) Reddington. He was a 1967 graduate from Clay High School; his Bachelor's Degree from Capital University and Bill also received his Master's Degree in Divinity from Evangelical Lutheran Theological Seminary. Bill loved cooking and baking, both as a hobby and later as a profession. He enjoyed singing and being part of the choir. He was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Detroit Tigers fan. Bill was a faithful member of St. Lucas Lutheran Church. Surviving are his children, Jon (Tamara) Reddington and Kristin (Tim) Boldman; grandsons, Asher, Jonas, Keenan Reddington; sister, Mary (James Nowak) Reddington; brother, Patrick (Lori) Reddington. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd and where his funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am. Private interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Bill's memory are asked to consider St. Lucas Lutheran Church, Toledo, Ohio.
