William K. Rost Jr., 42, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at the home of his parents. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 1, 1967, to William Sr. and Izora (Monk) Rost. William was employed as a daycare assistant with Ashtabula Daycare for the past several years. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling and playing poker. Surviving are his sons, William E. and Anthony (Chelsea Couture) and their mother, Kimberly Rost; parents, William and Izora; grandson, Jacob; brother, Richard (Brenda); sister, Mary (Jeff) Thomasson; mother-in-law, Judy Sutter; grandmother, Mildred Rost; the Ashtabula Daycare children and special friend, Robin Burgoon. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Walter; grandmother, Ila Glaze and father-in-law, William Sutter. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in Lake Township Cemetery.
