William R. Schultz, 76, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 13, 1948 to Roy and Elizabeth (Hoffman) Schultz. Bill graduated from Cardinal Stritch and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Cathleen (Ennis) on October 4, 1994. Bill worked for the City of Toledo for many years before his retirement. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Northwood VFW Post 2984, Arthur Daily American Legion, Disabled Vets and Catholic War Veterans. Bill had a love of the outdoors, spending as much time as he could with family and friends at his Nettle Lake cottage. If you didn't see him at the Lake, you could catch him driving around in his 1973 convertible, spending time with his 4-legged companion Bandit, or at the local AA meeting. He had many great memories from his days at Sacred Heart Elementary where lifelong friendships would be made. He had a love for hockey and enjoyed sitting and watching the games. Bill was a selfless man and will be missed by so many.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 30 years; and step-children, Robert Massey and Marie Olinger; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Susan Wolrich.

The family will receive friends at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Rd, Rossford, OH 43460 on June 17, 2024 from 9:30 until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will remain private. Expressions of sympathy in Bill's name may be directed to the Toledo Humane Society.
