William E. Schwerkoske, 89, of Benson, Arizona and formerly of Toledo passed away July 3, 2003 in Benson, AZ. He was born on September 19, 1914 in Toledo, OH to Ernest and Ottilie (Steinke) Schwerkoske. Willam was employed as a tool & die maker in Toledo and southern California for many years. He was a member of the Eagles and loved dancing, hunting, fishing and traveling. Surviving are his brother, Clarence; sisters, Olga Klepacz, Elsie Bahls, Freda Hubbell and several special nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy; son, Jim J.; brother, Frederick and sister, Helen Brick. Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in Lake Township Cemetery with Rev. Cathy Lauterhahn officiating. Contributions in William's memory can be made to the Tucson Medical Center Hospice, 5301 E. Grant Rd., Tuscson, AR 85712.
