William Steffen, 77, passed away on March 17, 2013 at ProMedica Bay Park Hospital. He was born on September 5, 1935 in Toledo to Paul and Barbara (Sedlack) Steffen. William worked as a machinist for Haughton Elevator for over 20 years and for Johns Manville for 25 years before retiring in 2006. He was an avid bowler and loved reading and building any type of model he could get his hands on. William was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Rossford Chapter. William'™s favorite pastime was spending time with his family and watching the grandkids play sports. William is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lenora 'œTootie'; children, Samuel (Kathy) Steffen, Thomas 'œTR' (Conni) Steffen, Monica (Robert) Fountain; sister, Doris Bourchard; brother, Paul Steffen; grandchildren, Thomas Burtscher, Steven and Ashley Luce, Anthony (Melinda), William, Alex, Marshall, Samuel, Elizabeth and Faith Steffen; great-grandchildren, Tommy, Lilly, Scout, Milee, Layla, Isabella; many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Kinsey-Pavley Funeral Home, 2001 Consaul St., Toledo on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in William'™s name are asked to consider the American Heart Assoication.
