William Stern, 81, of Oregon, passed away May 26, 2009. William was born on October 10, 1927, in Toledo, Ohio to John and Pauline (Belinski) Stern. He worked as a bookkeeper for Toledo Service Parking retiring in 1991 after 40 + years of service. William was a member of the former St. Louis Catholic Church and was now attending St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Agnes Irene; children, Leona (Michael) Mason, Russell (Jane) Grover, Terry Stern and Jerry Stern; grandchildren, Alexa Grover, Amy (Chris) Wahlgren, Chad Grover, Eric Stern, and Brian (Talia) Cromwell; great-grandson, Chase Cromwell He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Angela, Lorine, Bernice, Frances and Geraldine. Memorial service on Friday, May 29, 2009, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio. Memorials may be directed to Camp Big Silver C/O Boys and Girls Club of Toledo or St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
