William R. Stroshine, 26, of Oregon, passed away on January 20, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Tucson, AZ on October 2, 1990 to Ronald and Sandra (Davis) Stroshine. William was a 2008 graduate of Clay High School and attended Liberty University. He was employed with Norfolk Southern Railroad as a conductor. He enjoyed fishing, cars, trucks and motorcycles. William received the high honor of Eagle Scout while a member of Boy Scout Troop 131. He was a member of Main Street United Brethren Church in Walbridge.
William is survived by his parents; Ronald W. and Sandra
S. Stroshine; sister, Angela S. (Mike) Kanavel; niece, Kaylie Kanavel; grandmother, Brenda Gallant; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with funeral services conducted at 7:00 p.m Friday. Interment will be private. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in William's memory are asked to consider the Boy Scouts of America.
