William D. Swam 62, of Largo , Florida passed away on February 27, 2009 in Oregon, Ohio . He was a native of Delaware, Ohio and served in the US Army for 3 years. He also worked for GTE for 27 years before retiring in 2000. William is preceded by death by his beloved wife Linda Wade Swam; parents, Virgil and Cecil Sparks Swam; and grandson Troy Siaris. Survivors include son, Michael (Denise) Swam; daughters, Kimberly Milam and Shannon (Jeremy) Snowden; sisters, Nancy (Don) Charlton and Betty Evans; 7 Grandchildren and 1Great Grandson. A memorial is set for Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Christ United Methodist Church , 5757 Starr Ave. in Oregon , Ohio . Services will begin at 11:00am .
