William R. "Dick" Todd Sr., 71, of Toledo, OH passed away on November 22, 2003 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born on May 13, 1932 in Cullman, Alabama to Claude and Bessie (Herring) Todd. Dick was employed by Envirosafe (formerly Fondessey Enterprises and Ace Oil) as a heavy equipment operator for 30 years retiring in 1988. He was also a member of Local Union #18 and enjoyed deer hunting. Surviving are his wife, June S. Todd; children, Jane (Charles) Caperton, William R. Jr.(Diane) Todd, Robert (Debra) Todd and Tina Billings; step-children, Donald Glover, Debra (Mark) Phillips, Penny Nowicki and Brian (Rita) Glover; mother, Bessie Todd; brothers, Alfred "Don" (Betty) Todd and Ernest (Irene) Todd; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dick was preceded in death by his father, Claude and step-son, Michael Glover. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Sunday from 2-9 pm where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11 am. Interment will take place in Toledo Memorial Park.
