William H. Vest, 88, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2003 in his home. He was born on February 3, 1915 in Clifton Forge, VA to John E. and Olive (Noel) Vest. William worked for CSX Railroad at the coal docks for many years. He was a WWII Army veteran and member of the Zenobia Shrine, Yondota Lodge and Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo. Surviving are his brother, Woodrow Vest; friend, Lee Wessendorf and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle and brother, Earl Vest. Funeral services will be conducted in Clifton Forge, VA with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Homes. Visitation: Visitation Times
