William R. Wagoner, 83, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away November 2, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 23, 1938 to William and Martha (Hires) Wagoner. He worked as a Furnace Operator/Supervisor at Cleveland Steel Foundry for 23 years until its closure. He later owned AAA Locksmith, servicing the Toledo area until moving to Georgia in 2007 in retirement. He was a past member at Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed singing, reading the Bible and witnessing. He also attended Massillon Bible College where he carried a 4.0 average. William had a passion for woodworking, hand painting his creations and attending craft shows as a vendor.
William is survived by his wife, Laurel Dray-Wagoner, Children, Connie Ramon, Karen Wagoner, Brenda Baker, William M. Wagoner; grandchildren, Steve Small, Penny Baker, Gwen Pitzen, Tressa Wagoner, Holly Hood, Billy Jo Billings, William Wagoner; many great-grandchildren; step-children, Rachel Alkelabi, Jeremiah (Kenzie) Dray; and 4 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Oberta Purney; 2nd wife, Maryellen Bedacht; brother, Darrel Townsend; sister, Jean Davis; and grandchildren, Rebecca Small and Gary Wagoner,
