William L. Watts, 73 passed away unexpectedly at home on November 29, 2016. He was born on January 6, 1943 to the late Loren Watts and Adelaide McClain. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 17 years, Nancy Watts; son, Gerald; sister, Patricia Frasier; his "little Grany" grandson, Joseph Allen.
Bill was a US Army Veteran. He was so full of life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He loved going to watch the baseball games downtown and loved football. His real passion was for "Wrastling". Bill loved watching WWE and all wrestling on television and going to see it live. He enjoyed concerts, karaoke, and loved his country music. If it was fun, he wanted to go! Bill cared for everyone and was a big-time jokester. He wanted to make sure everyone was happy. Bill never missed a chance to talk to his family and friends on the phone. He will be sadly missed, but not forgotten.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kathy (Rick), Richard II (Spring), Donna (Merl), Rodney (Janet), Patricia (John); brothers, James McClain, Daniel Watts; sisters, Barbara Shutler, Alta Marshall; special niece, Tina (Gus) Lambros; nephew, Randy; many other nieces and nephews; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Bill's memory are asked to consider Disabled American Veterans.
