IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William "Will"
Steffen
April 30, 1991 – September 25, 2024
William P. Steffen, 33, warrior, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away at Cleveland Clinic, after a courageous battle with cancer with his loving family by his side. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 30, 1991 to Jackie (Shuff) and Samuel Steffen. Will worked as a supervisor for UPS for many years. He absolutely loved football, cheering for the Michigan Wolverines and the Green Bay Packers. He loved his 4-legged companion Luna and all pizza! Will was an avid outdoorsman, always wanting to spend time outside, whether it was kayaking, canoeing, or just taking the sights in laying on his hammock but what he absolutely cherished most was his loving family, especially his beautiful daughter, Isabella.
Will is survived by his daughter, Isabella; parents, Sam (Kathy) Steffen and Jackie (Doug) Damschroder; brothers, Steven (Alexandra) Luce, Alex Steffen; sisters, Paula (Jason) Bodette, Ashley Conway, Ashley (Greg Gilkerson) Luce, Faith Steffen; grandpa, Bill (Dorothy) Shuff; close friends, who were more like brothers, Joe Baker, Jimmy Duran, Cody Myrice; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and loving family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Tootie Steffen; and Shirlene Shuff.
The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Wednesday October 2, 2024 from 2:00 p.m-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in Will's name may be directed to Victory Center. Even in our loss, Will's selflessness lived on through organ donation and we will always be proud of our warrior.
