William J. Zemenski 69, of Toledo, Ohio lost his battle with cancer Sunday June 19, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones. Bill was the first son of John and Ann Zemenski. He served in the United States Merchant Marines and in the United Sates Air Force during the Vietnam War. Bill was an avid reader and enjoyed playing billiards and chess. He was self employed for many years and enjoyed helping others. Bill is survived by his loving wife Jean; children, Greg, Tammy, Toni, Andrea, Nicholas, Devin, Timothy and Terry; grandchildren, Tony, Tre'Ana, D'Andre, and Dori; mother, Ann Zemenski; siblings, Joe(Nancy) Zemenski Robert(Gerry) Zemenski, Mary Ann(Arnie) Lawson, Janice (Harry) Duval and James Zemenski. He was preceded in death by his youngest brother Paul and father John. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:00 am in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
