Wilma J. Cornell, 75, of Oregon, OH, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2005, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Wilma was born on May 1, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio, to Arthur and Bernice (Anthony) DePew. She was employed as a sales clerk for many years with the former S.S. Kresge Co. and Fashion Mart. She also was a member of Oregon Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Mervin; children, Dorothy (Raymond) Schwierking, Brenda (Gerald) Goeckerman, Pam (John) DeGasto and James (Kathleen) Cornell; sisters, Linda (Perry) Arman and Karen (Bob) Holdridge; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Donald and Roger DePew. Friends and family may visit from 2 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Oregon Church of the Nazarene, 2350 Starr Ave., Oregon, OH. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery.
