Wilma J. Myers, 86, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 18, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on January 16, 1923, to Albert and Ella (Amsler) Zunk. Wilma was employed with A&P Food Stores and retired from GM Powertrain. Surviving are her daughter, Judy Sloan; brother, Vernon (Tina) Zunk; sister, Janet (Robert) Johnson; brother-in-law, Richard Knitz; sister-in-law, Darles Zunk; grandchildren, Jim (Joanne) Sloan, Julie (Tom) Jester; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry; sister, Vera Knitz, and son-in-law, James Sloan Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio, on Wednesday, May 20, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
