Wilma J. Smith, 90, of Millbury, Ohio passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 at Manor at Perrysburg. Wilma was born in Millbury, Ohio on June 28, 1928 to Harry and Edna (Sandwisch) Lapish. She worked at the U.S. Post Office for 31 years, before retiring in 1988. Wilma was a member of Calvery Lutheran Church and the Millbury Golden Gang. Wilma is survived by her children, Marsha (Gerry) Shook, Melinda (James) Boyer and Gary (Robin) Smith; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Dick Lapish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Smith; parents; and siblings, Dale Lapish and Janet Curless. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 am in Calvary Lutheran Church, 1930 Bradner Road, Northwood. Friends and family may visit at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service. Memorial contributions may be directed to Calvary Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
