Wilmetta E.' Boots' Bolton, 74, of Northwood, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon. She was born in Oregon, Ohio on December 2nd, 1936 to Robert and Ethel (Guy) Chaney. Wilmetta volunteered for Northwood Schools as a room mother for over 40 years. She was a longtime member of Northwood VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed making crafts for her family and friends. Her true passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren, always willing to lend a listening ear. Wilmetta is survived by her children, Lisa Karcher and Robert Bolton; grandchildren, Joshua Karcher, Michael and Dustin Bolton; brother, Wayne Chaney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Clayton and Sherm Chaney; and sister, Francelia Chaney Private services will be held.
