Wynona Mae Hyndman, 77, of Northwood, Ohio passed away July 1, 2011 at Orchard Villa. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 25, 1933 to Claude and Nellie (Nighswander) Peterson. Wynona had been employed as a Proof Department Clerk at First National (Fifth Third) Bank for 27 years before retiring in 1996. She was a member of Echo Meadows Church of Christ. Wynona enjoyed playing bunco and played with the 'œPlanters 9' for over 40 years.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Charles D.; daughters, Cindy (Goldie) Durham and Debbie Hyndman; son, Charles M. (Pam) Hyndman; sister, Bonnie Whiteman; grandchildren, C.J. (Tammy), Jonathan (Erin) and Courtney Hyndman; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild on the way and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John William Peterson; sisters, Bertha Bishop and Mary Jane Peterson.
Friends and family may visit at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
