Zachary DeLauter, 22, of Toledo, Ohio passed away unexpectedly April 7, 2014. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 23, 1991 to Scott and Tammy (Krieg) DeLauter. Zach was a graduate of Start High School. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army National Guard and served in Qatar, Saudi Arabia. Zachary was employed as a technician with Precision Broadband, installing cable for Buckeye Cable System. His hobbies included fitness, weight lifting and playing in war zone paintball leagues.
Surviving are his mother, Tammy DeLauter; father, Scott DeLauter; sister, Jenna DeLauter; aunts, Linda (Danny) Shrewsberry, Carol DeLauter, Robin (Marty) Jordan, Kim (Jack) Berger and Florence Leuck; uncles, Dale DeLauter, Dave (Chris) DeLauter, and several cousins.
Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Thursday and Friday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park where full military honors will take place.
