Zachary Paul Mildon, 28, formerly of Oregon, Ohio and currently of Los Angeles, CA, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Zach was born in Oregon, Ohio on April 27, 1993 to John and Sheila (Kamann) Mildon. Zach graduated in 2011 from Cardinal Stritch High School. Zach was employed in Los Angeles as a rehab intake specialist. Zach loved sports. He learned how to water ski at age 7 and was good at any sports he would try: soccer, basketball, snowboarding and baseball. Zach had a personality that lit up the room. Everyone wanted to see his smile and hear his stories which always brought out a good laugh. Surviving are his loving parents, John & Sheila; brothers, Anthony Mildon, Christopher (Jodie) Mildon; twin nieces who he adored, Hadley & Margot Mildon; grandmothers, Janice Mildon, Miriam Kamann. Zach was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Wendel Mildon and Norman Kamann; uncle, Edward Vuyk; godmother and aunt, Candice Kamann. Zach will be greatly missed by many of his aunts, uncles, friends, and cousins, especially Justin, Chelsie and Emily, who were more like siblings to Zach than cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 2:00 until 8:00 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 15, 2021 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner St., Walbridge, Ohio where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to John or Shelia Mildon to allow them to memorialize Zach's passions at a later date.
